Pipeline Cleaning & Televising Phase 3

The Project includes the following Work:

1. The Contractor shall clean and inspect the District’s sewer pipelines as shown as “Phase 3” in Figure 1 and in associated figures and plans provided at the end of this document. This work includes hydro-cleaning of approximately 21 miles and closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection of approximately 21 miles of gravity sewer pipelines ranging from 4 to 18 inches in diameter. In addition, the work includes inspection and documentation of 671 associated manholes and visual inspection and documentation of approximately 86 additional manholes located mostly within the “Phase 1” scope as shown on Figure 1.

1. Pipe materials include ABS, asbestos cement, cast iron, cured-in-place pipe, ductile iron, HDPE, PVC, reinforced concrete, transite, truss pipe, and vitrified clay.

2. Estimated quantities of pipe to be cleaned and inspected are provided on the Bid Schedule Form.
